Champions League: Real Madrid will be disappointed – Pat Nevin

Erstwhile winger of Chelsea football club, Pat Nevin, has made his opinion known on the Champions League game between Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Chelsea will be hosting Real Madrid at the Stanford Bridge tomorrow in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

Chelsea’s last game against Brentford ended 4-1 in favour of Brentford last weekend in a premier league tie.

On the other hand, Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 2-1 last weekend in a Laliga encounter.

Yet Nevin thinks that Real Madrid hopes will be dashed after the game tomorrow at Stamford bridge.

“If Real Madrid thinks they can watch this game back and expect the same result, performance, system, and even personnel, especially in the midfield, they’ll be very disappointed.

“This will be one of those special nights when I have no doubt it will be a pleasure to be at Stamford Bridge, maybe even a game to be talked about for years and decades to come,” he said on the official website of Chelsea.
