Fans Protested

Earlier, United fans protested against the Glazer family who had owned the club for the past 17 seasons.

While the protest was going on, Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 7th minute through a pass from Anthony Elanga.

The second goal came in the 32nd minute through a perfect finish from Ronaldo through a corner.

However, Norwich returned one goal in the extra minute of the first half through Kieran Dowell’s header.

As a result of this, the first half ended 2-1.

The Visitors Leveled Up

When the game reached 52 minutes, the visitors equalised through Pukki’s strike when he beat the offside trap.

In the 76th minute, a breathtaking free-kick was all Ronaldo needed to seal victory for United.

Ronaldo’s hat-trick today is his second since he returned to the premier league.

Speaking after the game, David de Gea, United’s goalkeeper said the team could still clinch the top-four ticket.

However, he advised his teammates to give more so that their dreams will come to pass.

“Ronaldo scored three very important goals for us.

“We know we’re not playing very well, but we got three points.

“We should control the game against Norwich at home better.

“A massive win for us.

“We still have a chance to finish in the top four and we have to fight for it.

“We will fight for the top four until the last second.”
