As a component of the National Social Investment Program (NSIP), Npower’s major aim is to cultivate trade skills in youths.

What are the Requirements of Npower?

The age bracket for eligibility for the program is 18 to 35.

Registration for intending participants takes place on www.portal.npower.gov.ng.

In addition, the selection of successful candidates takes place automatically on the website to prevent political influence.

Intending participants will provide their full banking information and BVN so that the process will be accountable.

Stipend Payment Every Month

Every month, successful applicants will collect a monthly allowance of N30,000 for 24 months.

In addition, they will collect devices, which will help them to acquire skills successfully.

Batch A Enlistment

The Federal Government enlisted Batch A participants in the scheme on June 12, 2016.

After a thorough procedure, there was the confirmation of registration of 350,000 applicants.

Furthermore, 200,000 intending participants scaled through the online assessment test.

On December 1st, 2016, Batch A participants commenced operations.

They should have spent 24 months but the Federal Government added 19 months to give a total of 43 months.

Batch B Enlistment

The enlistment procedure for Batch B applicants began on June 13th, 2017.

At the end of the whole exercise, there were 2,543,079 registrations.

Besides, through the online screening test, 300,000 applicants passed.

Moreover, the successful applicants began operations on 1st August 2018 till 31st July 2020.

Batch C Enlistment

On June 26th 2020, the enlistment of applicants for Batch C started.

At the end of the exercise, over three million registrations took place on N-Power’s portal.

The Federal Government gave its word that one million youths will benefit in this batch.

Applicants should visit the NASIM’s website at, www.nasims.gov.ng, to know if they are successful.

Just visit the deployment tab on the site, and if you are successful, you will get a message of congratulations.

September 2022 is the deployment date for Batch C.
