President Buhari commissions King David University in Ebonyi

Nigeria’s President, Muhamadu Buhari, has commissioned the King David University of Medical Sciences Ụbụrụ owned by Ebonyi State.

According to The Nation, President Buhari is on a two-day working visit to the State. He described the University project as excellent.

Furthermore, he commissioned several buildings in the University, including the administrative block of the University, the Teaching Hospital, hostels, staff quarters, University Secondary school blocks, among others.

Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi said the school boasts cutting-edge equipment in different disciplines in medicine.

Besides, he said the school can produce dialyzers, which is very vital in dialysis.
Also, the Governor said that the state used direct labour to build the school to reduce costs.

He acknowledged President Buhari’s financial support, which helped the state to complete various projects in the state, including the university.

In addition, President Buhari commissioned the King David University Twin Flyover in front of the University, as well as the Uburu-Mpu, dualized concrete road.
